An Evening of Appreciation. A Night of Art. A Gesture of Outreach. A Lifetime of Knowledge.

A Night of Art
On Thursday, 17 November 2005, 300 VIP guests will gather for an art auction and dinner at the Four Seasons Hotel to experience an evening of aesthetic appreciation. The theme of art will flow seamlessly throughout the night, with art-inspired cocktail activities, artful decor and artistic cuisine, culminating in an auction that showcases top quality works by Singapore artists.

Mr Ian McGinlay of CHRISTIE'S auction house will be the evening's auctioneer, conducting the sale of prominent Singapore-based artists' works in 2 parts. Each part will last approximately 20 minutes each, and will be presented in style simulating an Art Outreach classroom lesson.

The works will then be incorporated into Art Outreach educational materials and taught to thousands of students in the classroom. This will truly be a spectacular evening offering our dinner guests the rare opportunity to own a part of Singapore's art history, as well as the knowledge of it.

A Lifetime of Knowledge
Funds raised from Art Invitational will be channeled directly into the development of additional teaching materials, including the recruitment and training of more volunteer teachers.
